The Rockford Fosgate P2 15” subwoofer continues “The PUNCH” tradition. The P2D2-15 features a Dual 2-Ohm voice coil, 400 Watts RMS power handling, and can accommodate a grille insert using the included cast aluminum trim ring.

Kevlar fiber-reinforced paper cones deliver bass impact you can feel along with VAST technology to increase surface cone area up to 25%. The P2 subwoofers perform best in standard sealed and vented enclosures. Includes diamond cut cast aluminum trim ring. Optional grille insert available.

Bass that is bulletproof

The P2D2-15 15" subwoofer was designed by Rockford Fosgate engineers to deliver the kind of powerful low-end you want in your car. Its responsive paper cone is reinforced with the same Kevlar fibers found in bulletproof vests, giving you the best of both worlds: warm bass with a lot of punch. The oversized rubber surround is attached to the cone using a new technique that increases available cone area by 25%, allowing this sub to push more air for even more bass.

Made for heavy excursions

The extended pole piece and bumped backplate on this P2 sub provide more room for heavy excursion, allowing it to hit deeper lows without "bottoming out." The copper-clad aluminum voice coils are kept cool by special venting, resulting in consistent bass performance over time. You can wire the sub for 1-ohm impedance for maximum power output, or for 4-ohm impedance if you're using multiple subs, thanks to the dual 2-ohm voice coils. You can use the P2D2-15 sub in either a sealed or ported enclosure, so you can get the bass you want for your system.
