Our VAST technology increases surface cone area by up to 25%, and our Kevlar fibre reinforced paper cones deliver bass impact you can feel. Standard sealed and vented enclosures work best. Soft touch ABS trim ring is included.

The P1S2-15 15" subwoofer was designed by Rockford Fosgate engineers to deliver the kind of powerful low-end you want in your car. Its responsive paper cone is reinforced with the same Kevlar fibers found in bulletproof vests, giving you the best of both worlds: warm bass with a lot of punch. The oversized rubber surround is attached to the cone using a new technique that increases available cone area by 25%, allowing this sub to push more air for even bigger bass.
The P1S2-15 sub's extended pole piece and bumped backplate allow for a more heavy excursion, allowing it to reach deeper lows without "bottoming out." This subwoofer can be used in a sealed or ported enclosure, giving you the flexibility to choose the type of bass you want for your system. The 2-ohm impedance of the sub will draw the most power from your mono sub amp.
