The Rockford Fosgate M2D2-12SB Color Optix 12” sealed enclosure subwoofer delivers loud, clear, accurate bass, and lights the way for your journey! M2 provides a customized look by using either the stainless-steel grille or the black “sport” grille inserts. The Element Ready™ design and IPX6 certification make them truly purpose-built for marine or motorsport applications where protection from damaging UV rays and water spray is essential. This subwoofer is optimized for small sealed enclosures where space is at a premium.

The M2 series of Element Ready™ subwoofers are designed to pair with the Rockford Fosgate Color Optix™ Controller and RF Connect App through its Deutsch™ and Amphenol™ connectors integrated into the basket, allowing you to customize your color patterns. This combined with their IP67 certification makes these speakers Element Ready™ and truly purpose-built for marine applications. To complement the plug-and-play connectivity and streamline installation, M2 subwoofers are equipped with a VersaSwitch™ to make changing impedance between 1 and 4 ohms as easy as flipping a switch. This subwoofer is designed to perform in small sealed designs when there is very little space for an enclosure.

Underneath the UV-stable ASA plastic frame, you'll find an injection-molded mineral-filled polypropylene cone that's treated with UV inhibitors, plus a moisture- and tear-resistant synthetic fiber blend spider.

Switchable impedance

The 2-position VersaSwitch™ lets you set up the sub for 1-ohm or 4-ohm impedance with a simple flip of the switch. Deutsch™ and Amphenol™ waterproof wiring connectors will stand up to the elements, whether you're on open water or tied up at the marina. The sub also features Rockford Fosgate's Color Optix™ RGB LED lighting system to give you bright, colorful lighting that accents your boat's interior.
